Worldbeat 2019
On Friday 22nd November the whole school took part in our second Worldbeat Competition.
We celebrate the variety of languages in Europe and beyond, with each class performing to represent a country of their choice.
All the children and staff put an immense amount of work into preparing the songs and dance routines, as well as their costumes. There were also a lot of props this year too!!
The standard this year was really high throughout. Our judges had a very difficult task to decide the winners. On the judging panel, along with one representative from each class, we were joined by Dr Mitchell (School Governor/Trustee), Miss James, Head of performing Arts from Trinity and Mrs Dougal from the office.
The whole event was compèred and organised by Mrs Wood.
Below you can see some great pictures of the show (thank you Mrs Purcell!) and videos of some the performances will follow.
Well done to Chestnut Class - Year 3, this year's winners, but also congratulations to everyone for making it another exciting and memorable morning.
