Salary Grade B1 dependent on experience

17,364 (Full Time Equivalent Salary)

£12,812 (Pro Rata Salary)

Term-time only

We are seeking to appoint a highly-motivated Teaching Assistant to join our AS (Autistic Spectrum) resource based at Fir Tree. This is a West Berkshire resource provision for children with specific AS difficulties.  The successful candidate will be a confident professional.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support children in mainstream  lessons as well as within the resource to access the curriculum
  • Be able to work closely with a range of teachers and professionals
  • Have a sound general level of education
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good sense of humour
  • Enthusiasm and patience
