On Monday 20th June, Year 2 had an amazing time at The Look Out Centre in Bracknell.

 

They explored a range of Science exhibits where they were able to go on a skeleton scanner; send a huge hot air balloon skyward; look at hissing cockroaches, snakes, land snails and so much more. 

They climbed up the big tower which was 22 metres high and does have an incredible lot of steps, however, they were rewarded with a stunning bird’s eye views over Swinley Forest.

In the afternoon they participated in an interactive show looking at food chains, habitats and animal classification before heading into the forest for a bug hunt. As always Year 2 were exemplary!
